Solid aluminium splitting / felling wedge for controlled and safe felling of trees and splitting of logs. Softer than steel, aluminium allows the wedge to be used with steel hammers or mauls. The front face of the wedge has raised barbs to help prevent the wedge from jumping back and the rear face has a longitudinal guide groove to encourage even entry. Suitable for frozen wood, robust and light weight. Maximum lift height of 30mm, 35mm and 40mm depending on wedge size.
