Perfect for making kindling, preparing campfires and tackling light chopping jobs, its compact proportions offer excellent control and precision. Small enough to pack away easily, yet built with the same working-tool character as its larger stablemates, the Wölfling proves that a proper axe doesn’t have to be a big one.

Its keen cutting edge makes quick work of kindling, small branches and light chopping, while the reduced head weight keeps the hatchet agile and easy to control.
Forged in Germany from high-quality carbon steel, it brings the strength, edge retention and working performance expected from a full-size Helko axe — just in a considerably smaller package.
Hand crafted from Grade 'A" American hickory selected for grain orientation and density and finished with linseed oil.
Traditionally hung using a hardwood wedge and round steel ring wedge.

We provide a Lifetime warranty on the head of all our hatchets and axes to the original purchaser,
Please note that the warranty does not extend to the handle. Although we take great care in sourcing only the best hickory and ash timber. As wood is a natural material we are unable to warrant it's performance.
This item will be shipped direct to you from the Helko Werk factory in Germany.
It will be sent via FedEx using a "Delivered Duty Paid" service, which means that any customs fees and UK import VAT are all pre paid and you will not have to pay any more than you have already paid.
The FedEx service is an Age Verified Delivery Services and requires an adult signature.
